Associate Director - Value Realization
Introduction:
We are looking for a talented and driven Associate Director with expertise in financial and transaction advisory. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of consulting and industry experience, with the ability to lead financial analysis, develop financial models, and provide insights on mergers, acquisitions, and investments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Financial and Transaction, investment advisory related projects
- Independently be able to conduct financial analysis and valuation by developing high-quality financial models.
- Develop financial models for new projects covering all aspects of project life cycle for internal and external audiences
- Scope out requirements from business functions and integrating the impact of requirements into models allowing for scenario planning and forecasting
- Review existing models and develop an enhanced external cost model to integrate the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow positions
- Offer advice to management and shareholder teams on a large set of financial matter such as merger and acquisition initiatives, potential opportunities, and financial due diligence.
- Build pipeline through continuously engaging prospect clients.
- Assess impact of transformation initiatives
- Lead workstreams autonomously within larger projects and ensure project deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Client Engagement:
- Independently lead a portfolio of clients, whilst also working closing with other team members to ensure work is delivered to the highest standard.
- Provide excellent service to clients up to c-suit level, building trusted relationships and generating appropriate financial returns.
- Prepare high quality presentations/proposals for clients including visually compelling documents, reports, and charts.
- Assist project team with relationship development, client need identification and proposal preparation
Team Collaboration and Development:
- Participate in the growth and development of the consulting team, assisting in recruitment and continuous learning initiatives.
- Contribute to the operations and strategic direction of the VRT practice through active collaboration and support.
- Promote high standards of service delivery and support team members to achieve client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
Required Qualifications:
- Educated to Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or Qualified ACCA
- CFA level 1 is a must – CFA Charterholder preferrable
- 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in an corporate finance, transaction advisory, boutique corporate finance firm, or the corporate finance division of a recognized accounting firm

- Proven and successful experience in strategy consulting and advisory, leading a business into enhanced financial performance.
- Exceptionally good skills in creating complex financial modelling and have an ability to understand and interpret financial marketing instruments.
- Deep understanding of accounting and tax standards as well as an understanding of financial instruments.
- Deep understanding of portfolio management, exit/entry strategies and accounting of portfolio companies
- Knowledge of complex formulas, VBA and Macro coding in Excel
- Develop high quality PowerPoint slides with rich content to convert financial model analysis into meaningful insights.
- Adequate knowledge of Power Bi and Dax coding.
