Job Summary:

The Partnership Director will play a key role in identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic partnerships to enhance Contango's growth objectives. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to align goals, foster collaboration, and ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with Contango’s business objectives.
• Identify potential partners across various sectors, particularly in Data, AI, and technology domains, to create mutually beneficial relationships.
• Manage end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including initiation, negotiation, execution, and performance evaluation.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, private enterprises, and technology providers.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development, marketing, and sales, to maximize partnership value.
• Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of emerging trends.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate partnership performance and provide regular reports to senior leadership.

• Negotiate complex contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or a related role, with at least 5 years in leadership positions.
• Proven track record of establishing and managing successful partnerships in technology, data, or AI-focused industries.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a results-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of the Middle East market and experience working within the region is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with government regulations and policies affecting partnerships in the UAE and broader Middle East.
