Director - Real Estate Investment Advisory
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Investment & Transactions Expert to lead and execute high-value transactions on behalf of a prominent client in Abu Dhabi. The role involves evaluating project feasibility, structuring public-private partnerships, and supporting transaction execution.
The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, proven leadership capabilities, and a results-driven mindset to drive transactions and strategic initiatives. Prior experience in consulting environments is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Prioritization: Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on strategic alignment, financial viability and market potential
- Feasibility Studies: Lead feasibility assessments, including financial modelling, risk analysis and market research to support investment recommendations
- Real Estate Deal Structuring: Design and negotiate tailored deal structures that optimize value and align with client objectives, balancing short- and long-term outcomes
- Investment Presentation Preparation: Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling investment presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Deal Negotiation & Execution: Lead negotiations to ensure successful execution aligned with strategic, legal / regulatory and financial requirements
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the lead point of contact for deal-related activities, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders across the deal lifecycle
- Market & Regulatory Insight: Stay abreast of UAE and GCC real estate market trends, regulatory frameworks, and competitive dynamics to guide strategic decisions
- Project Leadership & Team Oversight: Serve as the project lead, ensuring deliverable quality, timely execution and effective management of resources engaged on the project.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in real estate M&A, investment management or asset management. Preference for candidates with experience in UAE or GCC
- Consulting Experience: Prior experience in a management consulting or advisory role is preferred, particularly within real estate or transaction advisory services
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, lead multidisciplinary workstreams, and drive teams toward results in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
- Education: Bachelor’s / master’s degree in finance/business, CFA is preferred not necessary
- Market Awareness: understanding of the business environment and dynamics within the UAE and broader GCC region
- Financial / Investment Acumen: Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis with the ability to assess complex scenarios and guide strategic decisions
- Negotiation & Structuring: Proven capability in structuring and negotiating real estate transactions
- Analytical Thinking: Expertise in market and risk analysis to identify viable opportunities and mitigate downside risks
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
