About RED
Ras El Hekma Urban Development Project Company (RED) is responsible for orchestrating, managing, and regulating the development of the Ras El Hekma (REH) city in the North Cost of Egypt. REH is a joint development venture between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to build a new state-of-the-art city in REH peninsula west of Alexandria, between Marsa Matrouh and New Alamein city.
Role Summary
Industry: Real Estate, Urban Planning and Development, Economic Zones, Public Administration
Location: Zamalek, Cairo, Egypt
Language Fluency: Arabic and English (both verbal and written, mandatory)
Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential conversion as FTE or extension of contract, as agreeable by both parties)
The Independent Consultant will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact workstreams and deliverables as required by RED. This opportunity is perfect for professionals with a strong analytical mindset, strategic problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to work across multiple workstreams. As a consultant, you will be a partner with mid-to senior executives to address complex business challenges and drive impactful changes.
The role will be on secondment to RED, based in Cairo, Egypt. There could be requirements to travel to Ras El Hekma, governorate of Marsa Matrouh subject to company travel and expense policies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the broader project team, internal and external stakeholders in delivering strategic solutions across a range of workstreams
· Provide insights on market trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities in Egypt’s real estate sector
· Develop innovative strategies and actionable recommendations to help clients improve operational efficiency and achieve long-term business objectives
· Attend and participate in high-level government and private sector meetings, taking structured notes and summarizing key decisions, risks, and next steps
· Advise on local real estate regulations, zoning laws, and compliance requirements · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement key initiatives, ensuring seamless project execution
· Craft in-depth data analyses to drive sophisticated hypothesis generation · Prepare high quality presentations/proposals for clients including visually compelling documents, reports, and charts
· Present findings and strategic insights to senior management and client stakeholders
· Prepare briefing notes and background materials to support senior leadership participation in external meetings, and develop concise summaries for internal and external distribution post-meeting
· Facilitate PMO routines such as workstream check-ins, milestone reviews, risk reviews, and reporting cycles

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment with diverse client engagements
· Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and an unparalleled attention to details
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers including company leadership, developers, lawyers, and regional and national representatives of the Government of Egypt
· A high degree of flexibility to adapt to shifting client priorities and agility in shifting between various projects and teams · Ability to articulate strategies and insights with precision, ensuring messages resonate with our global clients
Required Experience & Qualifications:
· 5-12 years of relevant experience in management or strategy at a top-tier consulting firm is highly preferred.
· Bachelor's or Master’s degree from a top-tier university (MBA or relevant advanced degrees preferred)
· Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
